Privacy Policy

Effective: October 20, 2026 · Last updated: October 21, 2026

This policy explains how Crushed It Productions LLC ("Crushed It," "we," "us") handles personal information through www.crushedit.com, inquiries, bookings, purchases and our video editing and production services. We are based in Georgia, United States, and primarily serve U.S. clients.

For privacy questions or requests, email david@crushedit.com. Separate written project agreements and client instructions may also govern how we handle project material.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you work with us, information may include:

  • Contact and project details: your name, email, phone number if provided, business or show name, content links, project brief, budget, timing and location details you choose to share.
  • Booking and business records: appointment details, time zone, booking answers, correspondence, proposals, agreements, invoices and payment status.
  • Project content: footage, audio, photos, transcripts, captions, feedback and other files supplied or created for a project. These can contain information about clients, contributors and people appearing in the content.
  • Website and device information: IP address, browser and device details, referring pages, pages viewed, interactions and timestamps. Our hosting, analytics, media and booking providers may receive technical information when their services are used.

We receive information from you, from clients or project participants supplying material, and from the services used to run the website and carry out projects.

2. How we use and share information

We use information to respond to inquiries, discuss scope and availability, arrange calls, provide quotes, deliver and revise work, communicate about projects, collect payments and maintain business records. We also use website information to understand activity, operate the site and help prevent misuse.

Project material is handled in connection with the services requested and applicable project agreements. Relevant files or details may be shared with project participants and service providers needed for that work. Our portfolio includes selected work and credits; use of client material for a portfolio remains subject to applicable permissions and agreements.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect rights, safety and the security of our business and services.

Marketing: we do not sell or rent contact lists. We do not currently send marketing email campaigns or run advertising or retargeting on this website. Booking confirmations, project messages and billing communications relate to the services you request.

3. Services that process information

The services we use include:

  • Squarespace: website hosting, site analytics and business tools. When a Squarespace invoice, payment link or checkout is used, Squarespace Payments and its processing and fraud-prevention partners, including Stripe and Sift, may receive billing, transaction and payment information. Squarespace privacy · Stripe privacy · Sift privacy.
  • Calendly: discovery-call scheduling. It receives the booking details you submit and collects information about interactions with its booking service, including through cookies and similar technologies, as described in its Privacy Notice.
  • Google Drive and Dropbox: storing, exchanging and delivering project files. Google privacy · Dropbox privacy.
  • Slack: project communications and collaboration. Slack privacy.
  • Cloudinary: delivering website images and videos. Cloudinary privacy.
  • YouTube/Google and Vimeo: embedded portfolio videos. These providers may receive device and playback information and use their own cookies or similar technologies. Google privacy · Vimeo privacy.
  • OpenAI/ChatGPT: AI assistance for business and project work, as explained below.

Providers process information under the terms and settings applicable to their services, and some also handle information for their own purposes. Following an external link or opening a provider's booking or video page brings you under that provider's own privacy practices.

4. Cookies and website tracking

Essential cookies and similar technologies help the site function, maintain security and remember choices. Optional cookies support performance, analytics and embedded services.

Use Accept all, Decline all or Manage cookies in the site banner. After choosing, use Cookie Preferences at the bottom of the page to change your selection. The custom Calendly embed loads after performance cookies are allowed. If you decline, you can use the direct booking link instead, or email us.

Video choices: You can see the portfolio cover images without accepting optional cookies. The featured Work-page players and the wedding-film players load only when you choose Play. The notice beside Play explains that this action allows the selected YouTube or Vimeo player and its cookies for that video; it does not enable the site's analytics or Calendly, and we do not save a separate video preference. Other video blocks may also load their provider when you press Play. Directly hosted videos and cover images are delivered by our media and hosting providers.

These click-to-play YouTube players use privacy-enhanced mode, which limits personalization but does not mean that all processing or cookies are eliminated. These Vimeo players use Do Not Track mode, which limits non-essential cookies; Vimeo may still use essential security cookies and receive cookies already stored in your browser. Close a featured or wedding video to unload its player. Saving a cookie choice with performance cookies declined also closes these click-to-play players; you can choose Play again for an individual video. Unloading a player does not delete cookies already stored by its provider.

Declining optional cookies does not prevent all processing: hosting and other requested services still receive technical data needed to deliver their content. Third-party providers may recognize you across visits or services according to their settings and privacy notices. Learn about Squarespace's cookies.

Do Not Track: Squarespace's analytics may still record page views when this browser signal is enabled, while treating visits differently. We do not apply a separate, universal Do Not Track response across every third-party service. Our custom embeds use the booking and video choices described above; providers may respond to browser signals differently.

5. AI assistance

We use AI tools, including ChatGPT/OpenAI, for business and project assistance. Depending on the task, information entered into these tools may include client names, project details, transcripts or files.

The AI provider processes submitted information. Its retention and model-improvement practices depend on the product, terms and account settings in use. Please discuss any project-specific confidentiality or AI restrictions with us before providing material so we can agree on an appropriate workflow.

6. How long information is kept

We do not currently have a fixed automatic deletion schedule for inquiries, client records or project footage. Communications and project archives may remain in our business records and the services used for a project until they are deleted.

You can ask about a particular record or request deletion by emailing us. In reviewing a request, we consider ongoing project needs, agreed archive arrangements, legal or accounting obligations and the rights of other people. Provider backups and records may follow separate retention periods. Do not rely on us as your only long-term copy of project files unless a separate archive arrangement has been agreed.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You can choose what optional project information to provide, use the cookie controls, and contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Some information is needed to book a call, provide services or meet legal requirements.

Email david@crushedit.com with your request and enough detail to locate the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity or authority and protect information belonging to others. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law, including any additional rights, response requirements or appeal rights that apply to you.

If information appears in a project controlled by one of our clients, that client may be the appropriate contact for decisions about the content. Let us know if you need help identifying the relevant project.

8. Security and processing locations

We use account controls and the safeguards offered by the services used for our work to help protect information. No transmission or storage method can guarantee complete security. Please avoid sending passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information through the booking form or ordinary email.

We operate in the United States. Information may also be processed in other countries where our providers operate, under the laws and safeguards applicable to those services.

9. Children

This website and its booking flow are intended for people arranging professional services and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly through the site, please contact us. Personal information in client-supplied footage is handled as project material under the relevant client arrangements.

10. Changes to this policy

We will post updates on this page and change the date above. If a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.
